Pink Lizard Developing Youth & Community is a social enterprise that runs projects for people of all ages, to give new experiences and to develop esteem and confidence. The projects span topics such media, music, drama, dance, sports and sports education, agriculture, inclusion, lunch clubs and job clubs. It primarily works in South Leicester. It has worked in conjunction with local authorities, education providers and the Police.

Pink Lizard has been operating since May 2011. At that time, Adrian Hinds, who grew up in the area, wanted to support people from deprived communities within Leicester by giving them new opportunities. Over the past 8 years, Pink Lizard has supporter numerous people, both young and old, into work and further education.

In 2017, the work of Pink Lizard was recognised publicly by Prince Harry, who spent an afternoon visiting our projects and speaking to some of the young people who had benefitted through them.

Each year, Pink Lizard pushes to do more than before; exploring and delivering new opportunities and experiences, to help and support communities in and around Leicester.
